It looks as if the GEM (f65b-14b205-ac) in my 1997 F-150 xl has gone bad. I have found a f75b-14b205-ac but I was told that they are year specific. Any help would be great. All my local Ford dealer can say is "its discontinued no one in the country has one".

Now what for us guys that still have a 1997 F-150?

My thought is why is this GEM important. Could I jumper a wire to my windshield wipers?
