the second my wife drives this truck on a highway, she'll drive it like her car an try to do 80. i dont want my engine spinning at 3500 for an hour each way.....so, i put in an OD w/o having a seperate trans computer
is the neutral safety switch plug the same, or do i have to rewire ?
will my 88 350 have wiring plug for an electronic transfer case from an 88 bronco ?

Not sure on the newer trucks, but the c6 in older cars has a pigtail coming off the neutral safety switch.
The aod has a 4 prong round plug on all of them I've worked on (cars not trucks)

the AOD is from an 88 bronco with a 4 pin, does the switch also do reverse lights ?
the C6 is in my 88 with a 4 pin an Does reverse also

 

Yes. They both do neutral/park and backup lights
