The 10A fuse on my wife's 2010 Expy that controls power to the visor keeps blowing when she uses the garage door button. I've changed it out twice. Just curious if there might be an easy fix prior to scheduling an appt at Ford.
If I remember correctly this came up before and it had to do with the wiring going to the visors getting pinched or pierced by a screw.
Check the screws that hold the visors to the headliner and see if maybe they are the problem.

This...your going to need a multi-meter and a few hours. start tracking down the wiring from the fuse block to the mirror. Somewhere something is going to ground. Be glad you have a fuse and not a fire. I'd bet it was from swinging the mirror or somewhere in that area.
