NICE F-1 on ebay

Other than the 215 engine (which doesn't bother me), it looks to be bone stock. No reserve. It's listed on the "bring a trailer" website. Will be very interested and educational to all of us to see what this thing goes for in these hard economical times.

Yeah they have some excellent pics on that listing. Especially of the chassis. We all ought to download them and file them away for future reference.

They really went to the darkside by putting the 215OHV in it. It really is a nice truck, and No Reserve!

I'd like to see how they got the 215 to sit in there, i.e., is it on a '52 frame? Or did they swap out the angled pieces? I love that color.

I'm on my phone, so the pics are small, but it looks like I can see the original unoccupied flathead mounts in one picture. I'm not familar with those 215 mounts.

Me too.
Only thing that would make that truck any nicer is if it was a 51 and was mine

I love meadow green. Probably may favorite color on a stock truck.

Wow! Sold for a strong $19900! Wonder if anyone on the forum had the winning bid? If so, hope to hear more about what appeared to be a nice truck that walked the fine line between nice driver & weekend car show participant.

Yeah I watched it bid up. That's a very nice truck. I took Doc's advice and downloaded all sixty something full size pics and put them in a file for future reference. Also printed a pdf of the listing format since it was laid out nicely. The black 6 cyl flathead also was relisted and sold Buy if Now for $19500.
