Tripminder upgrade for F-Series

I have acquired a Ford factory Tripminder from a 1987 Crown Victoria that I was hoping to install in my 1995 F350 to give me the clock as well as MPG and ET functions. Has anyone else tried or perhaps done this upgrade? My searches on here have yielded no results of it having been done. Since these cars were EEC-IV speed density 5.0 engines I would assume that the ECM inputs/outputs would be the same or at least compatible. If the speed input lead (GN/W) on the Tripminder module corresponds to the Vehicle Speed Sensor circuit (DG/W) [679] on the F-Series that answers half of my question. So far I have been unable to identify what might be the equivalent of the Fuel Flow Input (LB/PK) on the Tripminder on the F-Series. There is a "Fuel Pump Monitor" terminal Pin 8, Circuit 238 (DG/Y) in the F-Series wiring. Perhaps that is the equivalent? I did find a write up on a website [www.coolcats.net] that detailed doing this upgrade on a 1980s Cougar. Thoughts from any of you electronics gurus? Thank you for your consideration.
