Airlift 5000 .VS. Timbren suspension Kits
I'm in the market for a suspenspension helper kit and was wondering which of these would be the better buy. Does anyone have a Timbren kit? my pops got a airlift 5000 kit on his 95-f350, and the only down side i can see is plastic fittings need to be changed to metal. I want to run air on the truck for air horns and a quickk disconnect on the rear hitch for air tools and such.
My main question is does anyone have a Timbren kit on their truck? If so How do you like it? What are the weight ratings?

My suggestion would be to do alot of searching to find the system that would work best for your application, ie do you have a compressor on the truck now, do you have brackets? I built mine for my jeep rock crawler using the oe compressor, lubricator, dessicicant/ trash filter, some plumbing and switches and it will blow up a flat 36 in. tire in 2 min. Search the web, google is your friend..

I haven't gotten around to doing it myself but a friend of mine has used an AC compressor it works great runs a 3/8 impact no problem
