Adding turn signal LED light to door mirrors

Hi I have just bought on 09 XLT, and wouldn't you know it, I was behind a Lariet that made a left hand turn, and then I saw something my truck does not have... the turn signal LED at the bottom left hand side of it's mirror. And guess what? Now I want that too! I have seen some other threads about this on other web sites, but as far as I am concerned, this site is the last word on anything Ford truck! I have a couple of questions:

Anybody know the Ford part # for the mirror turn signal lights? Also I would like to install the reflectors in front of the mirrors so I can add LEDs to them too. Anyone know the part numbers for the front reflectors? And lastly, I would like to try not to tear up more than I need too, so would there already be the turn signal wires I could connect inside the mirror housing? Or since this does not have that option from the factory am I going to have to take the mirror off the truck and run those myself?

Thanks for your help!

Stu

This has been discussed on here before. My understanding is they can't be added without a lot of hassle. Do a search and you'll find info on it.

If you have an XLT with the LED signals on the rear of the mirrors it is a relatively simple upgrade. There is a whole thread on it on another (F-150) forum. Without the LED mirrors, it will be a major task.

Thanks fellas. Idid do a search, found a lot of good info on other sites. But this is the site is the one I like the most. What I am looking for are part numbers for the LED turn signal below the mirrors and the reflector in front of the mirror. I am sure you are right, it will be major surgery!

Those reflectors are inset into the mirror housing. Possibly much easier to buy the whole mirror assembly.
