removing alternator pulley?

Hey guys I know this is probbly a stupid question but ive never had to remove one before and im going to try to get my 3g installed today. What is the best way to remove the pulley from the old pulley?

Hold the pulley with a strap wrench and use an impact to zip the nut off. Sometimes you can do it while the alternator and serp belt are still installed.

Don't even need the strap wrench. If you don't have an impact, take it by autozone or one of the other parts places, they should have one and be able to swap pulleys for you.

I will give both of those a try. If i can do it myself ill go to the store and try it
