can you fix a door locking latch?

Is there a way to fix the inside of the door latch mechanism?
My door key is very had to turn, both ways. The inside door handle doesn't work well, it's very hard to open door. I tried wd-40 on the latch, it didn't help. The door latch has three rods, key lock, outside door push ****, inside door handle.

I had to take off the door panel and lube everything inside the door. I used WD-40 before and the last time I used a can of spray white lithium grease. It seems to have lasted longer than WD-40. If lubing it does not help, then trying to adjust it might. If not, you may have to replace it.

I have never had to adjust anything except the "stud" that sticks out on the cab of the truck, but I would assume most of the parts are adjustable at least a little for adjusting after a wreck when they dont line up perfectly. Lubing everything helped mine. Maybe someone else knows.

Well whenever I've had that problem, buying a new key fixes it.
