Dmanikowski - where are you located? my dad put it on CL and as soon as I heard that, I told him to take it off, that I wanted it! I don't know how long it was on there, but. telling me that people were trying to get it for $200-$300! He had it listed for $500 ($400 without battery or topper )...

Not true from my experiences. Ive bought 3 trucks now that had those running boards on them, and all 3 had solid cab corners floors fenders and drip rails. This was what one looked like, and even with all the other rust, under the doors and floors were completely intact



but my silver truck that didnt have them had the front fenders rusted through behind the wheels w/ only 65k mi

The best thing to do with those running boards is leave a small gap between the body and board to allow cleaning.



And I'm not surprised the fenders were rotten since it didn't have running boards. All the crap from the tire kepted hitting the fender/cab floor, scratching paint, and rust starts that way.


That's why on all my trucks, they all have long mudflaps.

Got my 2 front ones installed on my winter truck tonight, painted them white

Still need to find some for the rear though.

I'm actually near Hagerstown but in PA
I offered him 400 for it but I can't remember
What happened haha sorry!

lol its all good. Im from York but stationed at Andrews. drive past/through there all the time when we. to my in-laws in wv. they are 10-15 min away from hagerstown... was just saying I couldn't believe people were literally lowballing a $400 truck...that was even roadworthy! lol
