Hey Welcome to FTE!
Lots of info can be grabbed from here.
Question, did you purchase the long tube or shorties?
I'd say if you plan on redoing the exhaust best to keep the cats and emmissions all hooked up. You can run a dual setup with cats and mufflers, or you can buy what they call a single in, dual out. Just depends on what your looking for

A high flow cat from any reputable brand and either straight pipe exhaust or a free flowing muffler will work.

If you're going with single exhaust stick with 3" while duals should be 2.5".

Banks makes an excellent kit. You could get cheaper from a local exhaust shop with generic parts, but a Banks system will be easy to pass inspections as an approved system.

I build mine out of all 3 inch stainless Magnaflow universal parts. I also used the Heddmen Headers. Sounds nice and mellow too without any drown. Just be sure you get a cat that has a GVWR high enough for your truck.
