Here's the link to the video of the 89 F350 showing the engine running with
the ATS turbo at 700 rpm idle, after being in salvage yard for approx. 4
mos.
I'm also including the classified ad link on the Ford Forum to validate
this listing. I have used this Ford forum for alot of information on my
Ford trucks, gotten alot of good advice as well. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/11...nsmission.html
The above listing is for the entire package for $ 2,675.00 but the ATS 093
Turbo is listed separately at the bottom.
Where are you located?
Thanks and hope we visit some more.
Hamburg, NJ. I have most of the money. can you give me like a week to get thye rest of it because I just paid for my insurance and bought permits for my truck. What was the price again and it comes with everything?
What is the zip code for Hamburg, NJ? So I can figure ups charges.
4.) ATS 093 Turbo $ 1,075.00 + ups shipping costs
This complete 093 Turbo price would include the following:
1.) Turbo (all the turbo hardware fastened to the intake)
2.) Turbo Air box
3.) Braided Oil line from the driver's side block at bell housing to Turbo.
4.) Exhaust "U" pipe with threaded fitting for Pyro probe.
5.) Turbo Up pipe from exhaust manifolds to Turbo housing.
6.) Air boost (clear tubing) line from turbo to boost gauge.in A-column pod.
7.) Pyrometer probe and wiring harness to pyrometer in A-column pod.
8.) Wiring for lights for the 2 gauge (beige) pod unit.
9.) Turbo Down Exhaust pipe existing turbo to Exhaust pipe.
(cut just pass the tranmission crossmember). This would probably need to be shipped as a separate item as it would not
fit in the box with everything else.
Anything else that I find in the shop directly related to this turbo unit.
I am trying to recall the pieces from memory rather than going back to the shop to take a specific inventory, so there may be another piece or two.
Rest assured that I will see that everything related is included.
I do have another nibble or two locally for this turbo but if you are seriously interested and willing to paypal me a small amount we can agree upon, I would consider it sold.
Naturally, the turbo package would not be shipped until full payment + ups shipping costs was received.
Do you still have this turbo? Will it work fine on a 87 6.9? What size down pipe? I don't have a clue what I am talking about it just seams like an important piece from what I am reading. Was it an aftermarket or did it come of a later model?

Ted
Yes the turbo is still available.
Will it work fine on a 87 6.9.... I think it will but I don't have a 6.9L available to check out the non-turbo exhaust manifolds. Does your 6.9 has the glow plug controller mounted on the driver side rear of the head? On your exhaust manifolds, does the driver side drop pretty much straight down, and passenger side exits close to a 45 degree, rather than straight down?
The turbo down pipe appears to be stainless steel and is 3" OD. I originally thought this turbo was a factory install but it doesn't have the flatten down pipe that Ford used at least on the later 093 turbo's that were installed on the 93-94 FORD turbo's. This down pipe is basically straight except for an area where the engine side was either slightly flatten or the vibration caused the pipe to flatten when it was hot.
I also have the entire exhaust pipe that was removed from this crew cab, it is a 3" straight pipe back to the chrome tip.
I now think it's an aftermarket kit installed on the 1989 F350 dually. The crankcase ventation regulator is relocated from behind the intake opening to the driver side valve cover. The GP controller hasn't been relocated however.
I will be the first to admit that I am very new to these turbo's and will defer to those more experienced on this forum.
I am assuming that you have viewed the youtube video of this turbo running earlier in this thread.
I hope I have answered your questions and hope I haven't gotten too wordy. Thanks, hugger94
