This is my first run in with the flat heads and in my traditional style I'm going slow and pulling little easy to get to parts off to clean during the week and saving big parts for the weekend. So to start off with i pulled the oil bath air cleaner and air breather. This is my progress on them so far;

I used a small wire brush and a wire wheel, its a drill press from a early 1900 navy ship

Its little things but they add up right!

I just managed to get one more thing done for the night the sending unit for my fuel tank was all rusted up and nasty so here it is;
