WTF!!!

So I just checked and I blew the passenger side boot down at the intercooler. WHEW!!! I will pull it into the fire station tonight after our work day and pull them all off and clean them. I'm thinking it's time to re-route that damn ccv. Once again I bow before the mighty psd gods...you guys are awesome.
Here's what my 'boost detector' looks like:

The CCV is not a problem IMHO, but clean boots, etc at installation ARE required to keep them from slipping off. Better boots and clamps will help too.

That's your fault, and you know it, and now you're trying to pass the blame off to me. I tried to tell you guys that replies before me show up later than I post, but noooo.... we had to go on a playful jaunt of "Where's Tugly?" instead of getting busy with inventing a new world where everything works perfectly. Nobody takes me seriously.

Hmmm, never thought of that. I believe I will build one tomorrow. I got the boot back on but I think I put too much paranoid strength on the clamp and over tightened it...oops! I'm guessing that it's going to pop off again when I head home in the morning. Oh well, I guess I will be looking for a clamp tomorrow too. Thanks, for the link.

and here: (this allows you to replace the cheesy worm clamps on spider/plenums with 'real' clamps)
