1948 F1 stock driveshaft yoke needed - 3spd LD

Just got back form dropping off my driveshaft to be checked out (straightened, balanced, whatever) and had a good look at the yoke.
She is pitted pretty good.
Thought I would check here first, if anyone has done a tranny upgrade and doesnt need their original.

Thanks very much

Chris

Pits on the yoke aren't a big deal unless they're in the area that rides against the tailshaft seal. And even if they are, your shop could install a "speedy sleeve" which is a very thin cover that goes on the slip yoke. That'll save you the expense and trouble of finding a replacement.

Its pretty pitted on most of the bushing area, and some of the seal area, as it was sitting out of the tranny for almost 20 years.

I'll ask the shop if they can reasonably source one or if they can do the sleeve deal.

Thanks for the tips

Some good info there, but for a longer yoke. Some perusing of the Spicer catalog could turn up the right one.
