i just got a van its a four wheel drive van i plan on parting it out or will sell it whole im not a ford man im i know it has a bigblock in it just dont know what size can you tell me where to find the engine #'S so i can find out the size of the engine

 

It would be helpful if you could tell us *anything* about the vehicle. We need the year, model, and the VIN. From that we can answer a lot of your questions.

 

the build date is 9/77 where is the vin number on this van there isnt on on the dash

All years of vans came with 3/4 ton rearends if it is a 3/4 ton van (E-250).

If it is truly a big-block it would be a 460, but I didn't think that the 460 was put into a 4x4 until '83. Maybe it is a 4x4 conversion or a motor swap.

 

Ford makes (made) a 4WD full size van?
I thought they were all conversions.

i know its a bigblock couple of my friends have small blocks
one has a 351 400 modified and a 302 the heads have the exhaust ports that stick out unlike the 351 400 modified and the 302 i think someone put it in the van also on the door jamb sticker it said it came with 16.5 rims do you know where the vin is on this van i know its not in the dash
