Hope someone can help me out. I have a 97 7.3, just got a ts performance chip for it and after i installed it is all i get is a no start and the wait to start light wont go off, so i pulled it out and the truck fires right up. I have taken it apart multiple times for cleaning and still nothing, ive made sure i didnt over clean it also. So i called the company who i purchased it from and they sent me a new one hoping that it was burned wrong but the new one does the same thing. If i could get some input or ideas to try that would be great

 

Make sure it's good and clean.
Are you getting it seated all the way?

 

I am suere It is plenty clean. And i push the chip in all the way till stops. I putt a ts chip in my other 97 7.3 and it works perfectly, the truck does have a check engine light on, would that stop the ecm from letting the chip work? This is all new to me so sorry if i ask a stupid question.
