Anything Strange about this Tranny

http://i1262.photobucket.com/albums/...21/tranny2.jpg

It is on my 95 150 4.9 manual. I just got it and put 5k with no problems. Changing oil today I saw this port opened. I'm guessing it is for another engine config and just needs to be covered. Also, are the gaps in the bell housing okay??? I'm not sure this tranny is original. Runs great so far...No oil leaks at rear seal...

The port on the side is to allow access to bleed the slave cylinder and it should have a rubber/plastic plug over it. The other gaps at the bell housing are normal.
