codes

I was recently pulling a 4 horse back from an elk hunt and pulling up a hill I got into the throttle and about three quarter throttle it started cutting out. When I got home I was checking oil and smelled a slight burnt plastic smell. My buddy just had the same thing and his was the valve cover gasket wires were fried. Im thinking this is what it is I just want to make sure. The codes it threw were po266 and po269. One was cylinder 2 and one was cylinder 3. Both Injector circuit contribution. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you run a cylinder contribution test?

Yes I did and that is where I got the codes from. We ran the test twice and both times they popped up. I also had them down wrong they are both supposed to be P0 not PO.
