What, do you think someone is going to have a brand new one in a box? Get real.

They are going to have a USED one, just like the junk yard does

FoMoCo sold all the parts individually for instrument clusters, you wanna buy all these parts? Probably not. So, the only way to find one complete is used.

SC resident: If you cannot find one "way down south in Dixie" .. I can give you the name/phone number of a "way down south in CA" truck dismantlers yard that probably has dozens.

And why are you replacing the entire cluster if only one or a coupla parts are defective?

What's wrong with the original? Since all the parts were sold individually, just replace the part(s) that are defective. I can probably find them new...locally...to you.

Edit: The problem you're having may be no more than a corroded printed circuit board (which is common). Use a pencil eraser to clean it.

If you need a replacement, there are two types, with/without a tach.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
E9TZ-9280-K (replaced E8TZ-9280-J).. Fuel & Oil Gauge / 1987/90 F250/350 diesel / Obsolete

Last MSRP: $175.40 / Dealer net cost: $116.93.

TISON MOTOR CO. in Estill SC has ONE = 803-625-2551.

SMACKOVER MOTORS in Smackover AR has ONE = 870-725-3961.

Edit: POCAHONTAS FORD-LINCOLN in Pocahontas IA has ONE = 712-335-3363,

HAVEN FORD in Haven KS has TWO = 620-465-2252.

Edit: FREESE MOTORS in Monticello IA has TWO = 319-465-3541.
--------------------------------------------------------------
E8TZ-9280-J replaced, no prices listed on FoMoCo's website =

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 800-476-9653.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has ONE = 800-543-4959.

Edit: WOLFE FORD in Lidgerwood ND has ONE = 701-538-7337.

Edit: CIFALDI MOTORS in Cumberland WI has ONE = 715-822-4931.

KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has THREE = 800-816-2894.

Now you know the years this gauge fits, so don't buy a 1986 or earlier or a 1991 or newer cluster, cuz the gauges are different.

I edited in four more sources to the list. If you wanna buy one of these puppies, call around for the best price.

Obsolete parts prices vary wildly from one source to another. For example, Haven Ford will be cheaper than Green Sales.
