Well..i am getting a burning smell on my rear passenger side that only happens when i tow..has been happening for a few months now.. Well this morning it was a little brisk..about 59F and it actually started smoking...i immediately stopped and felt my rim and brake caliper...both were as cool as can be and i recently replaced that caliper along with the slide pins and greased them well "thinking a stuck caliper was my problem but it wasn't". The burning smells like burning grease or something to that nature. Im kinda thinking this is my problem https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...a-diy-job.html Thanks for any help

 

just got back from my buddies shop...it was the axle seal..$100 and 1 hour later and it was fixed

lol...it's cool...i was lacking a few specialty tools anyways
