Lightbulb Thunderbird IFS

I have heard of Crown Vic front end swaps, Aerostar front end swaps. Dave Held has a kit for a Thunderbird IRS rearend swap. My question is Has anybody used the front end of an early 90's Thunderbird? I have a 66F100 short bed.

The Thunderbird is a unibody chassis with struts so it would not be possible to use the front end.

I was always wondering if the Aerostar AWD front axle would be able to be mounted on these trucks.
