Draglink - which end is the front???

Draglink - which end is the front???
Okay...it's been awhile since I took the thing off and I know you're supposed to mark the thing...BUT...I didn't. Sigh...and yes I sometimes suffer from Morons Syndrome otherwise known as idiots disease. The picture in my shop manual has had coffee spilled on it and I can't tell which end is which. SO...can someone tell me which end is which? Does the end with the slot closest to the end go towards the front, or is that the pitman arm end? One slot finishes about a half inch from the end of the thing and the other one is more like an inch and a half from the end. One of you fine straight axle gents take pity on this poor dumb Florida boy and help him get his old truck back on the road!
