Air Filter For 3v V-10

Why does no one stock the air filter for my 06 V-10.
Is there just not enough demand to stock them.
Or are they just not around here in centrall IL.?

If you mean the stock one, try Wal-Mart. If you mean aftermarket, it really isn't needed there is no performance improvement.

Yep I mean the stock air filter. Tried Walmart autozone and oriels. I'll have to get one ordered. Just wondered if anyone else had a hard time finding them.

I have been to Wal-Mart in several states and not been able to find one. For me, no one but Pep Boys has the filter on the shelf. Just shy of $30 there. Thought about a k&N for convenience but have heard about mixed feelings about them here on the forums.

I went and bought an Airaid intake system a long time ago and I wash and clean it when needed.

That is the biggest (and only really) advantage of the K&N. Buy it once and clean annually. A lot of people will say they are the worst filter in the world but if you can't follow the directions and oil it correctly you probably shouldn't buy it.

I have NEVER had a filter related problem....I'm talking 25 plus years.

True about the K&N. Had one on my Mustang. Never had a intake related problem in the years that I owned it. I'll probably break down and get one for the F250. Just to save the hassle searching for the paper ones.
