'04 Ex v-10 spark plug change 155,000 miles

I was wondering if I can get some recommendations as to changing the spark plugs in my Ex. We bought it used and I don't know if the plugs have ever been changed so I want to get that done. Been reading about the boots, coils and plugs and just wondering what all do I need to replace. I know to get motorcraft plugs, but what about the boots? Thanks for any input.

Motorcraft plugs for sure but the boots (imo) don't really mater what brand.

Don't bother with the coil packs until you actually have one going out. (Maybe buy one for a just-in-case.)

I agree with Scott. I cheapened out and got a set of 8 boots off Ebay and put the best 2 back in. It runs like a champ and you will need the boots for sure.

I got the spark plugs changed out last Friday. I followed the procedure recommended on this forum and had no trouble whatsoever. The worst part was waiting for the penetrating lube to soak for a couple of hours to see if they were going to come out easily.

They should always come out easily but I guess the oil is a good idea. Look how many hours they waited to get changed.

I had read about lots of horror stories with spark plugs not coming out that I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but it all worked out. Thanks for the replies.
