Thanks guys for the info
Thanks for the suggestions on quick connector release, none of the suggested additives work as well as I would have liked, even warmed them up a little to get the oil in. I was able to loosen the quick connectors from the radiator and reuse the the old fitting and lines on the new radiator.
The trucks been down for over three weeks now, the first new radiator arrived damage by FED-EX top tank broken, so finialy the second replacement arrived yesterday, Wow I'm ready to roll. Inspected the replacement and all looks good so we carefully install this nice brand new shiney radiator, also did the blue spring thing while we were in there.
So now we have all buttoned up, let"s add some coolant, after the first gallon let's check for leaks. Holly $$!@#$ she's dripping near the drain valve, aha maybe we did not tight the valve, nope thats ok. Took a closer look and its leaking between the tank and core where they are crimped together. If it were not for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. Guess we will do it again tomorrow, I'v had enough today, It must 5 o'clock now!!!
