Hey all,
got a 2004 f250 6.0 turbo diesel 122,xxx miles, recently noticing after i start my truck in the mornings/afternoons, when i accelerate, i hear a distinct buzzing noise. I can definitely tell its coming from under the hood. The buzzing noise occurs during acceleration, but after i get on the freeway, its not as noticeable. (not sure if its gone or not) then after about 5-6 minutes i get off the freeway and i hit a light, after which i accelerate again and the noise is no longer there. is this something i should worry about? In my mind i'm thinking its probably because the engine inst warmed up, but then again iv never noticed this before and I've had this truck for almost 2 years. Thoughts? hopefully i'm explaining the issue- thanks for looking.

Does your buzzing noise coincide with a certain boost level?
