I also have a converted distributor from Linder Tech for my flathead going into the F-1.

It will likely be dual carbs. on my F-6 I'm getting closer to putting the engine back in and am still not sure what i'll be doing with it. would like pertronics but not sure if I'll just add it to the existing distributor or have Bubba build me another one?

So a dumb question about the holley 94 carb with using the mechaincal advance from bubba , I just need to plug the vacuum line on the carb, I haven't looked yet but is that just a standard plug I can get at Napa or?
thanks

Josh

I don't mean to give you a smartaxx answer but these work too: http://www.daisy.com/ammo. Just put one in the line and connect it up just like it was. That way you can easily try it with and without the vacuum advance working.

lol, thats a great idea! why didnt i think of that. dont bb's have high levels of zinc in them? that could be good for a flatty.

The Loadamatic vacuum is no good for a Bubba or MSD dizzy. They need straight manifold vacuum. I just got around to making a manifold connection on mine last summer, and the difference is as great as having electronic ignition!

The LOM vacuum signal gets greater as load and RPM get greater. That isn't when you want vacuum advance, it is when you have light loads. Plus the LOM signal peaks at something like 5", while manifold should be in the high teens at least (except at high altitude).
