78, F100 Fuel Line

Would someone be willing to photograph and post views (from both sides) of the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carbureator on a 1978, F100 with a 300, 6 cylinder?

300 cid fuel line

Thanks Mike.
Is that how they looked and were routed from the factory? They all look kinda rough, as does mine. I am goping to replace it and was wondering what the factory installation looked like. None of the after market suppliers offer the line between the fuel pump and carbureator, now I see why. Do you know if they were copper or stainless?

The originals were carbon steel, same material as the steel brake lines. These are fairly easy to fab. Any auto parts store is going to have steel brake lines in stock. IIRC the line from the pump to the carb is 5/16". I usually use a long piece of wire or brazing rod to bend up a pattern, then measure how long it is and add a little. Then get a piece of brake line that length or longer and bend it to match the pattern. The line isn't very expensive so if you make a mistake it's not a big deal.
When I bent the fuel line on my project, I tried a half dozen different patterns untill I had one that I liked. Probably had $25.00 in the whole deal.

I'm not sure how "factory" these are, like I said I pulled them off the 'net.
The one I see the most often is the top one where it goes around the front of the valve cover.

Here are a couple pictures of my 79, which is original and would be the same as your 78. If yours is just rusted out but still all in one piece, Inline Tube can replicate it for you. I've used their replication service before with excellent results.
