Radio Aux connector

I have a 2005 Super Crew with the standard AM/FM single CD player. A passenger recently noted that I have an Aux button on the front that according to him should allow me to hook up/play an IPOD or similar MP3 player. Is that true? My owners manual is no help. I don't see any kind of connector or jack...maybe there's something on the back? That would be cool if it has that capability. We have that option on our Toyota for either an IPOD or a USB memory stick. Thanks.

Only 2007+ year trucks actually had an AUX jack despite their being a button for it on your radio. Misleading I know. My 06 had it and I looked for it everywhere until I realized it didn't have one.

Yes you can but you would be purchasing a new unit in order to do so. But the wiring is there to do so if you have a unit with the correct jack.

Hmm, ebay seems to have several newer style head units for under a hundred bucks, not too bad.

Anybody ever done this with factory stuff.
