51 Panel FS on HAMB

Found this today and thought there might be some interest here on the FTE:
1952 FORD Panel - THE H.A.M.B.
"1952 FORD F1 Panel Truck. Very hard to find panel truck project. Good solid body, not any rust that I could find. Roller, no engine or tranny. Needs some body work and glass. I have a windshield for it but it needs the 2 door and back door glass. It is pretty complete. Clear SD title in my name." $1,000 OBO

Wow, that is a great price if it really is rust free.

Those pics look like they were taken by someone driving by, not the owner.

An excellent observation. Kinda makes you wonder...

But from the looks of things, it appears to be a bit rougher than described.

Is it just me or is that an F2 RF fender? Maybe rust or collision repair.

Just sayin. But for $1000, you could reasonably expect something like that.

I have had an email conversation with the seller before, and may have even sold a part or two to him.

The Panel sold quick. For $1000, that's a steal, especially if the rear doors are in solid shape.

Read my edit. I had posted that the truck had sold and then read the previous post said just that. So, I deleted my op as redundant. Sorry 'bout that, should have let it stand.

OK, I guess I never got a chance to read your edit...makes sense now.

I guess that someone thought that the panel was a good deal, it was only up for a day and a half.

I'd say it was a darn good deal if it was rust free and had rear doors. Not that I am a panel fan but I am looking for a new project
