It's alive! (video of 2nd startup)

I don't have a throttle or gas pedal, but the 3 carbs are progressively linked together, clutch system finished, power steering pump not mounted etc...... but after getting 90% wiring complete i just had to start it.

1st startup i let run for about 15 minutes; setting timing, looking for leaks, burning off paint et.....

so video is of second start, it sound pretty ****ty.......but actually pretty good in real life.

this really motivates me to keep working on it........

That is truck **** at it's best! I'm pretty sure I had a goofy grin on my face while watching. Your truck looks great... very clean... you've done good work. That's the same truck pictured at the bottom of your posts, correct?Looking forward to seeing more action packed video of you driving the truck!

I'd love to hear you kick in the secondaries under load! Nothing like a 6 that's warmed up!

that picture is how i found the truck, it's the same frame, crossmembers, radiator support and some of the deluxe cab pieces and uh...... the seat, and a few brackets and other little stuff. I bought another F-2 and used the body panels.

It brought a smile to my face when i opened the end carbs, those small air cleaners didn't so much to muffle. it sounded like a large 4-barrel without an air cleaner. it think the chevy rockers increased flow also. I can't wait to drive it....!

( Exhaust isn't very loud, i wanted it to idle pretty quiet. )
