As for JBG, they dont have any as far ad I know. I believe theirs stop at 81 or something. Not even this place has one for 78-9, they need a truck to use for a "model".

 

Installed new brake and clutch pedal covers. Bought new brake drums, pads for the 10.25 rear.

 

I skipped the interior detail today...painted the topper instead.

 

Replacing the radius arm bushings and brackets.

 

Went back through all the wires and triple checked everything I have shoved into a connector so far. Still have a couple strays still looking for the correct home and might have to splice one wire into vehical harness.

 

Installed new chrome door handle on drivers side. Spent 4 hours poking at wires and connectors. Bumped interior hood latch and it now needs replaced,need to shop for that tommorow.

 

Buttoned up the engine and dumped 6 qts of 10w40 into crankcase, spun on a new filter and filled radiator. Went to start it and feels like the ignition actuator is broke, again. Made sure trans was in neutral and connected the remote start button under the hood, tried to turn it over and got nothing, starter must be stuck? Tapped switch a couple more times and smelled soething electrical warming up. Then fuel pump kicks on again, panic, pulled the negative cable and started looking. Battery is fully charged 13.5vdc, reconnect the battery and nothing, no dash lights, no interior lights, nothing!!!
This '91 is trying to give me a stroke! Going back out to start the troubleshoot, wish me some luck guys!

It helps if the negative terminal is tight. Since that only took about 10 seconds I fixed the broken ignition actuator. Yes, I do carry spares limited lifetime warranty or not, Iv'e had too many break to not. I did take a bunch of pics, step by step, how-to thread in the works

Well, it cranks over, has fuel pressure, spark, won't start. It has me a bit puzzled, even checked if there were any KOEO codes, 11, 11.

 

I got it to fire, with some ether. Put a light bulb in injector connector and nothing, tester shows 12v, so trouble with a ground or EEC. Ready to start rear axle swap this wekend.

 

Well....after a "Bronco Hiatus".......I've started putting the Ole Bronco back together. Found a wrecked Bronco with a very recent rebuilt E4OD. Got it pretty cheap...hope it's OK. Hopefully....the trans is OK and that will give me time to save and get my E4OD rebuilt with all the good stuff by a buddy down here. (That's the plan anyway!!) Waiting for the Derale pan and aux. cooler to get here. That's when I noticed my NEW JBA headers weren't in the back of the Bronco. Pretty sure they were with some of my stuff at my friends shop. Anyway, they're gone.

That starts me on a small rabbit trail. Does anyone have "Full length" headers on their 92-96 Bronco???? I'd like to see pics. Trying to decide full length or shorties. Thanks!!

 

I looked at mine last weekend. Both my 96 351 and my 84 302. Made me sad. Poor old 84 has no rust but doesnt have a straight body panel on the drivers side and needs a trans. 96 needs all new panels, tailgate, rear window, windshield, grill, header panel, headlights, bumper, and the engine has a rod knock.

Also been tossing around the idea of selling the 84.

 

I haven't done much, I bought a battery for mine so I can start trouble shooting. There was an interesting noise last time I ran the motor.
