I know that this is in the wrong forum,but this is the one that i belong too.What kind of trans.does the 92 7.3 automatic have in it, is it the same as our 95,96 97, f 350.

That is most likely an E4OD transmission. There were only two automatic transmissions used for the 7.3 IDI. One was the C6 which only had 3 gears and the other is the 4 speed E4OD. If you have overdrive and a button either on the dash or on the shifter that is labeled O/D Off, you have an E4OD.
