leveling and tires ???

I have a new 2012 F150 Platinum,screw 4x4,ecoboost, max tow package.
I would really like to level the front end about 1.5'' or 2'' and put on 285 tires.
Will the leveling do any real damage over time to the truck and how much of a negative impact will the 285's have on mpg ? Thanks in advance.

I just bought a new 2012 F150 XLT-XTR screw 5.0L Im adding next week a 3" Pro Comp Leveing kit and 1" rear block and later on 35" tires, from what Ive read it change's the ball Joint angle a bit but no horror storries from what I can find. Im also adding rear air bags for towing. I will let you know how they are plus you need a new alignment on your truck after adding them.

GET THE 1.5 leveling kit. unless you plan adding a to the back or have the max tow package that sits real high in the back the 2 inch kit will make the front sit higher then the back which gives it an awkward look.
