Gas gauge stays pegged on rear tank

When ever I switch to the rear tank, the gauge stays pegged on full. Is this a bad connection or a bad sender? Any ideas? I was hoping it was a magic tank that provided gas forever, but that's not it.

Mine does the same but it pegs to Empty when I switch to the rear tank, I have always assumed it was the sender but I have not bothered to look into it yet.........

I had one that would randomly get stuck on both tanks. I had to flip the switch back and forth to get it to read right. Vapor locked it once and took forever to figure out why because the gauge showed it had gas in it.
