92 5.0 f150 running horrible and flooding out?

Ok tried to do the check eng light diag on this. Found out the check eng light has either been removed or burnt out. So will need to find a obd 1 scanner cable for a ford vehicle. So I moved along.
Pulled vacuum line off fpr and no change at idle , no wetness or anything either. No issue there.
Moved on to TPS . Pulled connector with engine running an instantly truck idle smoother and idle calmed down. Plus it back in and instantly began blowing black smoke and sputtering irratic idle. Guess I found part of the problem. Now to replace that and move on! Thanks guys!

Also, I'll have to keep this in mind when I put my 351 back together. It was running rich, and but it had a leaky fpr, three burnt plug wires, and no compression on the #2 cylinder.

Awesome. I think there is a good article on here that describes how to calibrate the new tps.

Clean the DLC link pins with contact cleaner. Some also require a good scrubbing with small nail file or small screwdriver.
