I'm getting sick of tractors

well had last week off work, figured get tractors ready for upcoming tractor pulls....but....
-My Case 730 decided to blow its head apart, all of a sudden got all sorts kind of cracking in one of the heads trying to find a replacement
-Massey Harris 55 diesel needs starter work, apparently its a extremely unique rare type of starter the uses gold and dinosauer bones the make electricity
-John Deere D I lost my carberator.... how does that happen? guess only me to blame
-Minneapolis Moline R, I gotta try to shave off some weight to prevent going into the 4500lb class trying to stay in the 3500lb class

Prince Albert pull is this Sunday, Meacham next Sunday and Perdue and Radisson following 2 weekends..... trying to get something into competition shape
My Minneapolis will be ready for this week, thinking 55 will be ready for Meacham, and still a slim hope Case too

Life is fun

You are caving to the same woes / pressures that affect us all as we age - too much stuff / too little time!
Streamlining your operation is the solution to still enjoy that - dump them all / keep the best? Run one thats strong. Less work, hence, it wont seem like work...

very true Laredo, my keeper is the cae 30, its been good for a year and a bit, then one day its hydro-locked. Always been in back of mind to sell the 55 diesel and Minneapolis R if a profit emerges, but I'm very interested to see how they compete in tractor pulls.
ccod, when is Perdue pull as long as not this or next weekend and if something I have is doing well I would come

Well the 55 did extremely well at tractor pulls ssofar this years, got the 730 running good did competee at Meacham did ok, but. Is very handle. Working around the farm and workin. Great. The minneapolis R is. Doing good too but for the right price 3000 would sell, the John Deere D. I think ill be selling either now or after get running again
