H.I.D no high beam

I have a1995 f150. I put 8000K hids in about a year ago. The kit was basically plug and play, it used one of the plugs from the stock headlight, then needed to be connected to the battery, and grounded twice. The only problem I have experienced is my high beams don't work, haven't since I installed them. Does anyone know how to fix that?? (No high beams or flash-to-pass)

Does the bulb even have hi-beams built into it?

Is it a high/low kit?

A lot of kits are just low beam. The High beams on plug and play HIDs suck anyways.

By definition a discharge lamp such as those found in a HID headlamp only have 1 element so to speak.. they don't actually have any elements because they work more like a flourescent lamp than a halogen lamp, but what that means for automotive applications is there is only one beam and it will be either high or low depending where the headlight assembly is physically aimed.

On the hi/low bulbs there is a shroud to cover or uncover the bulb that is solenoid operated.
The light comes on and stays on just high beam unshrouds the bulb for a further beam.
Your setup isn't made like this I'm assuming.
