my new excursion

removed most of the tan trim/cladding today. just started raining so i have to finish the other 2 rear pieces tomorrow. used the 3M eraser wheel thing, all i can say is WOW...saved a TON of time and blistered fingers. worth the $40 (from NAPA).
few issues though, the passenger side is pretty much all good, but the drivers side front door and under the rear cargo window, looks like they started peeling and the previous owner used some kind of adhesive to put it back on, deff not factory, nor double sided tape, so its kind of harder to get off. plus i think the truck was repainted (carfax shows no issues, so if it was wrecked, they did a damn good job fixing it) but i can see where the clear coat stopped, but from a few feet back you cant even tell. eventually ill repaint the whole truck years down the road, but for now im happy. not bad for a 2001.
dad said "tan trim looked good" so i stuck it on his excursion lmao.

Congratulations on the excursion, and I will double the wow on the eraser wheel. Best $25 I've spent in a long time.
I noticed the corded drill in the reflection, for the stuff you're having trouble with try a simple cordless drill with a little more pressure. I had some stubborn spots on mine and the slower speed kinda pulled some stuff off in chunks instead of melting it away in small pieces like the corded drill did. No paint damage on mine with this method, but try at your own risk.
Not sure if will get that adhesive but, I figured my experience was worth sharing on that.
