How many miles do you all have on your 7.3 excursions?

 

Just shy of 480,000 on a 2000

 

WOW. I just bought a 2001 from a 70 year old man who bought it new and drove all highway miles and changed the oil every 3k miles. It has 280,000 on the ticker.

Whats the keys to success??

 

Mine has around 230k ish... By no means the most but still quite a few. I'd like to see who has the most. So far zato, you win.

 

I'm at about 165,000.

 

I have no idea I do very little to her and she still runs great . I change the oil every 10000 miles the transmission every 100,000. So far no major repairs

 

I'm inching tward 277,000 right now its 276,359

 

Mine has 267K and I am currently driving a friends that has 281K.

 

You guys with 250k and up do you have any performance mods done?

 

You can see my list of mods in my sig. My truck has been down the dragstrip about 100 or so times. I just put a new transmission in it this weekend. The stock one lasted me through a heck of a lot. I bought the truck 5 years ago with 140K on it, so almost half of the miles have been in the last 5 years.

Nice, what all have you had to do? any mods etc? How many trannies, injectors what all.

 

At 270,000 I had the #8 injector go bad so I had all 8 replaced lol and I just had to get the bearings done but other than that it's been a great truck knock on wood everything else is holding up well ( knock on wood)
