Just kidding guys. Wouldn't think about going away- too many great guys on this forum. My grandson picked out the color from a PPG chip book. I'm sure it was called Pine Green, but don't know from what car it came from. Jarred wanted a stepside, so thats what we got. His dad doesn't care for chevs so he desided that was the way to go. His dad refuses to drive a chev and thats okay with him. Pretty smart kid! I'll post more pics later.

I finally got the che*y rearend in place and just have to weld the spring pads and shock mounts. I'll post some pics just as soon as I get a chance. I have a complete 56 f100 rearend with 32 gears, new shoes, wheel cylinders and new drums that I'll trade for almost anything if someone is willing to pick it up. It wouldn't be cost effective to ship. Call me if interested at 254-291-3075.

Hey Gsato,
How's it going up there in Copperas Cove? It looks like the truck came with an old bed on there - was it just too far gone to use or did you just like that 4x4 wide fender look? That color is almost army green- you guys are pretty close to Ft. Hood.
Looking good up there.

Heavy100, All of my recsent pics are in my flickr or resto links, and thanks for asking.
Ben, We are only 5 miles from Ft. Hood where I work. The truck came with a bed which was to far gone to save. A friend scraped his 91 ch--y truck and gave me the bed and motor, and the rest is history. I have a 40X60 shop I play in most every evening with some friends that show up when they need machine work done. You look like you're doing rather well on your project. I know, it seems like they never get done. I have another year to finish this one before Jarred gets his permit. Maybe we can get together some day for a cup of coffee. Oh, jarred did pick out the color and I also say it's army green but it does have a yellow tint to it. Good to here from the both of you.
