Smoke From A Gasser

Hi, I know how to make smoke come out of the exhaust of a diesel, but I am wonderin if it is possible to create smoke with a gasser. White or black, it dont matter to me, im just wonderin if any of you all know if this is possible? Have you guys heard of anyone doin it? Any information at all would be great.
Thanks.

Yeah i know of some guys that have done it on pulling trucks just to make a smoke show. They run some lines through the floor and into the pipe really close to where their headers and collectors meet, and in the cab they have a jug with a ball valve with waste oil in the jug and just run it into the hot pipes. Then you can control the amount of oil and smoke at any point.

WHY???? Are you wanting to make the world think your truck is broken?????? Even black smoke in a diesel is wasted/unburned fuel...

There is zero reason to purposely make a road vehicle smoke. There's a few reasons:

- Makes people think there's something wrong with your truck
- Annoys pedestrians, motorcyclists and other drivers
- Can draw unwanted attention from LEOs

Tractor and truck pullers are going for a maximum power effort so these are of little concern. If you're still intent on doing this however......ATF burns white, coolant burns white, oil burns blue and fuel burns black.

I described what you need to do. Container with oil, ball valve, run lines into hot exhaust pipe. Don't know why somebody would want to make their truck smoke blue on purpose, but that's how to do it.

Anyother ideas on how to do it? Designs or ways to make it look better?

Remove your heads, take a dremel to your cylinder walls. Should smoke like hell then and nobody will see it...

drain about 1/2 your oil and replace it with an appropriate amount of solvent. be patient, it may take a bit of time for the smoke to show.

Keep in mind too that if you're burning crap in front of the catalytic converter it'll have to deal with the burned crap too. I don't know how bad that would be on it, but it can't be good.

Overall, just don't do it.

1) Run a vacuum line into a quart of oil.
2) Start truck, put trans in Drive
3) Make sure seatbelt is off
4) Drive into wall or tree.

Obviously I'm trying to be funny but seriously, don't ruin the reputation of truck drivers any more than the BroDozers have already.

wrapping your air filter in a black plastic bag will make black smoke out of the exhaust.
it will have the same effect as running with the choke closed on a carburated engine.

Disconnect some vacuum lines and retard your ignition timing then drive the truck like you hate it.

After a few miles of this you'll burn up some valves and have all the smoke you want when you floor it.

If I see a gas engine smoking I just think the owner don't care or can't afford to fix it.

A diesel engine smoking a bit on acceleration is fine, but when I see smoke pouring out because the owner is deliberately overfueling the engine, I just think they're idiots. It's a waste of fuel and it gives the environmentalists something to complain about.
