Interesting Fuel Tank issue AFTER replacing rear fuel tank.
Alrighty guys...It's finally in....Tank, pump etc came from a donor truck that I personally knew (Owner scrapped it, before I could go pull anything else off..)
Since adding the tank, and replacing the fuel lines on Michelle, it's developed a "Hiccup"...
On small grades, or all out hills...It starts bogging down really bad/missing HORRIBLY as if the pump is being smothered out or something...
The kicker?
I can swap to the front tank and it clears up immediately (Pinning the issue directly on the rear fuel pump)
Or
Swap to the front tank and straight back to the rear and the issue is gone...
Any ideas?
Only happens after about 20 minutes of driving...
I'm guessing that because the tank sat outside for a while, off the trucks, the little screen inside the pump is clogging up, and when I swap tanks, the crud is falling back away from the screen...
Thanks for any help guys...
