Does this look right to you?
The clutch release bar assembly in this 1979 F100 (300 IL 6) is at an angle. Is this the way it is supposed to be?
I would think it should be straight across, level.
I think being at the angle would make it bind.
Or is this normal?<O</O
Any help appreciated.

Usually they are straight across. I'd undo the spring (to release tension) and then try to grab the cross shaft and see if you can lift it up and down and front to back. (another easier way is to get somebody to push in the clutch pedal in and out while you look at what the pivot shaft is doing) Judging from what I see, you need to replace the pivot bushings that run off the block into the pivot shaft and from there to the frame. The ends of the pivot shaft may go egg shaped after some extensive use.
