offset differential 9"

i have a 52 f3. 215six with a t5 transmission. out back is a 9" ford from a 4x4 f 150. i have been running this rearend for a short while and was told that the offset is no problem due to the u joints. is this good info or can i expect some sort of failure down the road?

most all the 9 inch rear are that way from the factory. it will not be a problem if the pinion angle is set up correctly. they just look odd..
