Well, that's pretty much what I want to do. I want the space for the double din, so I will start figuring it out.

DIN stands for Deutches Institut fur Normung, which in English means German Institute for Standardization.

In simpler terms the radio in the OBS is single DIN. Stack another one on top of that and you have Double DIN. Double DIN allows for viewing a larger screen like in pictures above, SD trucks can do Double DIN devices.

Lots of industrial electronics devices go by the DIN standard.

That not true I've alway got him on the phone and if I had to leave a message he had called back within a couple hours
