double DIN, yes or no?

alright i need a straight answer if anybody has installed a pair of single DIN units into the dash of an 99-04 F250 or F350. i've seen double DIN units but not a pair of single DIN units. anybody?

I think it's close to DD, but not quite. With a little trimming I'm sure two single dins would work... but the stock hole... a bit small I think

I have never done it but the shop I worked for before my current job has done a lot of them so I know it can be done and looks good when done.
