Hi folks, i need your help!
Have to change timing chains at a F150 5.4 from 2005.
I´m in possession of an original Ford workshop manual. But i can´t understand, how i have to find out the right timing marks. On the cam phasers are two marks. one is only a dash, the other one is like a ENTER button from a keyboard. Which is the right? Furthermore, where is the reference point at the cylinder head???
Please give me an answer as soon as possible!

The cam phasers only go on one way as there are dowel pins. Before you start - rotate the engine to TDC. When you take the timing cover off - there will be a dot on the crankshaft sprocket at around the 7 oclock position as I recall. The reference marks on the cam phasers will be at 11 oclock for the passenger side and at 1 oclock for the drivers side. The dark links on the chains go at these reference points (cam phasers and sprocket).
