351w timing cover bolts.
#3
I replaced the timing cover and water pump bolts for my 302 with stainless steel versions from a local hardware store. I remember having to get 9 different bolt lengths. Part of the problem was that sometime in the past the soft aluminum threaded holes that the water pump bolted into got stripped, so I got slightly longer bolts and put nuts on the other side. The other problem was that at least one of the long bolts had to be double-shanked, so it would accept a nut on the front of the alternator bracket. Since the original bolt was broken from being so corroded, and I couldn't find an exact replacement in stainless, I had to use washers to shim the thickness of the nut that went between the bracket and the block.
